Christopher L. Smith
Experience
Christopher Smith is a native Floridian, born in Fort Lauderdale. In 1990 he was selected by the United States State Department to travel to Moscow, Russia to study and compete in the International Model United Nations. While at Florida State law school, he won the National Security Law Moot Court Competition at George Washington University.
Mr. Smith is currently a member of the Florida House of Representatives for District 93. His committee assignments include Vice Chair of the Crime and Punishment Committee, Utilities and Telecommunications, and reapportionment committees.
Mr. Smith has practiced in the areas of governmental law, business law, corporate and real estate law. Currently, his practice areas include civil trial, municipal law and civil rights litigation.
